Order 3D printing – from file or idea to finished part
Whether you have a finished file, a broken part or just an idea – here’s how an order works with us, step by step.
1. Send us the details
If you have a 3D file, upload it to the calculator and see the price straight away. If not, send a photo, a few measurements or the old part – we’ll draw it in CAD.
2. We suggest a material and confirm the price
Will the part be outdoors, need to handle heat or be flexible? We choose the material based on its use and explain why. You get a fixed price and a delivery time.
3. Manufacturing and inspection
The part is printed, cleaned of supports and checked against the measurements. For fit-critical parts we’re happy to make a test piece first.
4. Delivery
We pack carefully and ship tracked. You get a tracking number by email.
What we need to know
Tell us what the part is for, where it goes and how many you need. If it has to fit something else – a shaft, a tube or a screw – please give that measurement separately. You choose colour and finish; if you have no preference, we’ll suggest something suitable.
Changes along the way
If you want to change something after getting the price, that’s fine until printing starts. If the part needs adjusting after a test piece, we make a new version and you get a new price before we continue.
