From CAD to 3D print – design and manufacturing in one place
Many people have an idea but no 3D model. We design the part in CAD from a sketch, measurements or an old part – and print it.
What we can work from
A hand-drawn sketch, a photo with measurements, a broken original part or a drawing. The more measurements, the faster – but we can handle most things.
Designing for 3D printing
We draw with the right wall thickness, radii, tolerances and orientation so the part is strong and fits first time.
You own the file
When the design is done you get the file – handy if you want to reorder or have it made another way later.
Approval before printing
Before anything is printed you get a picture of the model with the key dimensions. You can check everything is right and ask for changes before material and time go into the print.
Copying old parts
If you send the original part, we measure it with calipers and draw it up. Worn or broken areas are recreated from the rest of the part and how it sits in its surroundings.
How it works
- You send a sketch, photo or measurements
- We draw it and show you a picture for approval
- The part is printed and checked
- You get the part and the CAD file
